I was less than impressed with what we saw while school shopping.
.

Every bag was either covered in characters and/or so cheaply made that it was ridiculous. One tug at the shoulder straps, and the stitching started to tear. MIC (made in China) pieces of craap.

So, I decided to make my own.

.

I used the scraps left from making the porch furniture's cushions, ribbon I have on hand, and quilt batting I have on hand. I bought the zipper for $1.37. I made the pattern myself.

Korra loves it!
